Why did you choose GB Home Adaptations to do the work?
After looking online and searching for local builders I came across your company and saw that you did adaptation work.
Did the service meet your expectations?
It’s been fine. Workmen were very professional and polite, particularly Stuart who is a perfectionist. Everyone arrived when they were supposed to and were good at their job. I can’t fault the planning, it was excellent and no-one held each other up. Everyone was very helpful. The only disappointment was that it took longer than anticipated as the bespoke shower screen I had researched had become discontinued between the moment I placed the order with your company and your company calling to order it which made things go a little pear-shaped.
How has it impacted your daily life?
It is gonna make a big improvement. My husband has mobility issues and really struggled to step in and out of the bathroom to have a shower. Even standing and balancing in there was a problem. The new wetroom has made it much easier as he is now able to sit on the fold down chair and shower more easily.
If you were to recommend us, what would you say?
I would do, we’re quite happy. My only suggestion would be that it would be worth ordering the bathroom components sooner.
