Why did you choose GB Electrical & Building Services Ltd to complete the work?
I was awarded a grant from the council to adapt my garden. GB were selected from the group of contractors that were referred from the council as it was felt they had the most experience with this sort of thing.
Did the service meet your expectations?
It more than met my expectations. The OT changed the plan for the garden three times whilst the groundworkers were working on it and the boys dealt with it really well. They were people you could really click with and have a laugh and joke. I’ve had groundworkers in the past I can’t gel with but your boys make you feel comfortable within your own home.
How has it impacted your daily life?
It is going to benefit my son the most as he is disabled. He’s now able to enjoy the garden and be safe while playing with his other siblings. It’s given him the opportunity to play football and play outside which he didn’t have before.
What are your thoughts on the aftercare and service throughout the process?
Like I said I can’t fault the boys, whatever was thrown at them they dealt with. I couldn’t have asked for better people.
Tips and advice to anyone else looking to have an adaptation
I would tell them to get in touch with GB. I’ve just recommended you to someone who I know is going through the same process and told them to ask for your company.
