Why did you choose GB Home Adaptations to complete the work?
We applied to Monmouthshire council for a DFG grant. They advised us to get two quotes from local companies that would be able to deliver the work. I did some research and spoke to AKW who supplied the wetroom equipment that I required who gave me two companies that they supplied locally. You were one of them. Your quote was mildly more cost effective than the other and it was the quote that Monmouthshire Council approved.
Did the service meet your expectations?
The builders, Pete & Adam were excellent workers. They were really good. We’re getting another quote for them to come back and redo my wife’s bathroom. We would only want Pete & Adam to do it as we know we will get a good job. My wife was particularly impressed with Pete as he was the one that was mainly here. He really did take care and pride in all of the work that was behind the scenes. He even corrected mistakes from previous builders and had good attention to detail. All were clean and tidy and they got on with it discreetly and quietly. A lot of care went into their work.
How has it impacted your daily life?
It definitely is making a difference. It suits me fine. I like the sink as it’s really designed for wheelchair users.
Any tips and advice looking to have a similar adaptation?
If you can get extra grab rails around the sink and toilet as it will make your life so much easier.

We’re very, very satisfied with the finish and spec. Honestly, we’re very happy with everything, it went like a dream.
